Indiana native, Aaron Weiler, began his life long passion for production at age 6 while performing voice-overs for local radio station WCNB. This early interest in entertainment, and a brief meeting with another Indiana native, Film Director Robert Wise, inspired Aaron to attend Indiana University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in television and film production.
While attending IU, Aaron worked at local PBS station WTIU/WFIU as Associate Producer and Editor of on-air promotions, and later worked at Paramount Television in Los Angeles as a drama and comedy development assistant. After graduation, Aaron moved to Atlanta to work for COMPRO Productions and 62nd Street Commercials as an Editor, Director, and Producer on numerous award-winning non-broadcast productions, documentaries, commercials, music videos and television programs.
Aaron formed his own production company in 2003 to pursue work on several independent television, film, and digital media projects. In 2006, he was hired by Cartoon Network Latin America as a Writer/Producer-Editor (Preditor) for Cartoon Network and Boomerang sponsorships & promotions. In 2008, he worked with Creative Director, Damon Pittman, to launch a new brand and channel for animation lovers called Tooncast. In 2012, Aaron was promoted to Supervising Producer, followed by a promotion to Senior Production Manager in 2014. Then, in 2017, he was promoted to Director of Production & Operations for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast Latin America. After leaving Cartoon Network Latin America in 2020, Aaron accepted a job offer to return to Warner Bros. Discovery (Kids & Family) in a new role as Global Studio Senior Director for Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, and Cartoonito, where he manages the DAM/MAM & post-production teams at Williams Street's Adult Swim Studio and collaborates with the Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, and HBO Max international production & marketing partners in Canada, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
Along the way, Aaron served two years as Associate Artistic Director for Atlanta's Stage Door Players, and he volunteered his time as the Communications & Information Technology Committee Chair for the Georgia Production Partnership, a not-for-profit coalition of companies and individuals who are active in Georgia's film, video, music, and interactive game industries. GPP's mission is to help promote and support the growth of the entertainment industries in Georgia.
