“Experimenting with a photo from my archives to create a richer, golden hour image of a busy Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, as viewed from the Rialto Bridge. I felt the raw, original image below lacked impact and an interesting story. The final, edited image above has more life and an artistic direction that I hadn’t thought about when I first looked through my library after the trip in 2018. It’s always worthwhile to go back through older images with fresh eyes every now and then.
